~ Fashion fades. Style remains‏ ~

The other day, looking at the famous film Citizen Kane in which the ruling elites control mass-opinion through the newspapers, I asked myself whether, in the present time, the ruling fashion elite control our opinion through the fashion magazines, writing about what's IN or OUT. Let's be realistic, fashion changes every season, so what's the point with keeping it up..

Suretanly, It's not important to strictly obay Fashion Code ( It's autumn 2011 and I'm still wearing UGGs. True story! ) If you ever been on Fashion Show you would know what I'm talking about. No one could ever where these :

I could say that fashion is one of the biggest scams in human's history ( except "people landing one the moon". That's the bigger one ) Don't let anybody demand you what to wear and don't blindly follow every fashion icons or designers coz they are leading minority who are here to impose their own style and thus better purchase of their goods by governed our awareness.
A few days ago I came across this editorial that was in our newspaper. Advertisement for the purchase of book by the authors Hillary Kerr and Katherine Power. With big subheading "'s a beautifully edited, celebrity focused fashion guide for the real girl" And it was also said that they were like sold out in every major city.
So, I just stopped and thinked : Why would any girl with a little self style need a focused fashion guide by two amaters? Truth is, that these kinds of books are just mind controling "advices" for  hungry masses . I have the first look and I've gotten at the adorably informative heading " What to Wear at opera concert?, which answers to the very question was short, mainly meant " nothing provocative". Oh Gee they sure stopped me from public disgrace.-.-'
Perhaps you could say that the keeping up with fashion  means keeping a pace with the world ( not persons or brands) and time in which we live. It may seem a bit silly, because people are not characterized by outward appearance and value of people should not be measured by it. This can be interpreted as a lie and we must conclude that the appearance has  influence on the personal impressions of someone we don't know. And, yes it's a bit primitive. And yes, cuz of the fashion we are dressing kinda same, til the turning point when modern becomes something that was previosly absurd and so on..
To conclude, fashion should not be taken literally and  we should not even bother to know it before we know ourselves . In life's most difficult  to develop your own style by which you're recognized, what characterizes our appearance and image that we have. Primitive people just frew money to create a picture of themselves with brands and brainwashing figures. Picture of ourselfs must be created by expressing your attitudes toward some ways. Trends come back and daft fashion lingo remains impressively immutable. That is: you are the fashion, and frew fashion you create you own style. So have fun and enjoy.
